High Return, Small Asset Management Company

Hi guys, just want to know ur opinions.

I just graduated with bachelor of applied finance and got an offer from an Asset Management company as a research analyst (buy-side).

the question is, this asset management has really history performance (one of the best in my country), but It seems like this company is not really a big asset management and not really well known. Whats ur opinion guys? is it a good place to make career (considering if I want to move to other big asset management companies after couple of years in this small but very good performed in term of its return)

thanks in advance

As someone who works at a large AM...I would actually envy someone in your position. Especially as a junior, the most important thing is going to a place where they will be willing to mentor and teach you.

A fund that generates that kind of alpha would be a great place to start a career. It would probably give you a differentiated way to look at things and would help you in your interviews going forward.

As a secondary point...if their performance is so good, why would you not want to stay there longer?
