How Long After Reference Check Before Offer? Fixed Income Role
I had a final round Tuesday last week that I felt went very well. Wednesday they asked me for references and to fill out employment app (I hadn't done it before because I networked to get the interview), and I heard through one of my references they got a call on Monday from a VP in the group. I haven't heard anything since sending over my references last week, and I am starting to get a bit worried (now Friday). How long does it take to hear back after they make the calls? Do they call for multiple candidates? It's for an entry level FI role, and they told me they interviewed me and 2 other candidates at the superday for one spot. Large FI AM - they have a very organized HR process.
