How Long Should I Stay At Deloitte Before I Switch to BlackRock?

I am a 4rd year accounting major interested in tax. I plan on doing a summer internship with BlackRock next summer. After that internship, I will go to Deloitte for a full-time position as a tax associate. I will stay at Deloitte for a few years for that Big 4 experience. However, I do not plan on staying at Deloitte, and I will switch to BlackRock for the long term.

How many years should I stay at Deloitte?

I was wondering how far up should I move through the ranks at Deloitte (Senior tax associate? Manager? A leadership position?) before I switch to BlackRock?

Hoe about actually experiencing Deloitte before you are ready to leave. You don't need to be so formulaic. Maybe you'll enjoy what you're doing there. What do you want to do?  Why Deloitte? Why Blackrock? What role do you ultimately want? And oh by the way, you may find you really like Deloitte (or not). Don't forget to enjoy the journey, not just focus on the destination.
