How to network as an intern interested in switching teams for full time at a BB?

Hi everyone, I am currently interning at a BB in their Corporate Finance/Data Analytics team and was wondering how I should go about wanting to transition into their Investment Solutions Team in their Private Bank/AM departments. My experiences are mainly in data analytics, but I go to a semi-target majoring in finance (hopefully allowing me an advantage to switch). Would this be possible?

I do believe starting salary does not vary extensively (90k for the BO position in NY vs. 100k for the Investment Solution). I do, however, just want experience working with investments now rather than later when maybe AI takes over and I could go back to something more technical.

I was wondering what I should do when reaching out to people at the team I am interested in. Should I reveal I am interested in switching from my current position? Is there a chance I can switch teams after an internship? Should I reveal it to my  HR coordinator near the end of my internship? Or should I seek the return offer, do the rotational program, and then look to switch into the AM team?
