How To Prep For A European Fixed Income Analyst Position

Hello all,

I will soon be starting a fixed income analyst position as a first year at a middle market european asset manager based out of Brussels.

With myself coming from the US, I wanted to know the best way to go about preparing for the position. What is the general knowledge that is needed first day? Is there anything I need to know or understand about euro debt capital markets coming from the US?

Thanks for your help!
