@newswimmer, I applied for a summer position in London and I imagine the process is the same. once you submit your application you'll be asked to take a Hireview interview; basically an online interview with a machine. two questions about why you chose your major and how it can benefit black Rock, Something like this. Pretty straight forward. Another point, don'r hesitate to apply for the position you're interested in even if it is not in accord with your major in uni.
