IB vs Private Banking/PWM
I recently accepted a position to work in Private Banking / Wealth Management at a BB (GS/JPM/UBS).
It is a great opportunity, and the work is relatively relaxed. However, like many of you, I'm competitive guy, and seeing that most kids are gunning for Investment Banking positions compels me to do the same. I don't have much insight into salary progression differences between the 2 industries, but if anyone does, it would be greatly helpful in determining whether to recruit for IB or not. Thanks.
