Info on an Investment Consultant Job Role, transferrable skills and exit opps?
There's an opportunity for a large multinational insurance firm for an investment consultant. Job role involves working on behalf on asset , managers to help with portfolio construction or analysing performance of asset managers to recommend to pension funds etc.
Will this offer solid transferrable skills to move into asset management and is it reasonable comp? From intuition I feel like this will just pigeonhole workers into a financial advisory and maybe wealth management.
