Structured Products Analyst, ABS and CLO Team

Purpose of the Position: This position resides in the ABS/CLO Team with the US Structured Products Group of FirmNameWithheld in New York. The position provides research and analytical support for CLO and ABS transaction review and portfolio monitoring efforts. The Analyst will be also be charged with the automation and streamlining of various analytical tasks and processes.

Major Functions: • Assisting team members in the preparation of materials for the analysis of new issue and secondary market investments. • Refining existing data gathering processes. Automate spreadsheet calculations and integration with trading/analytical platforms (Intex). • Performing surveillance on existing portfolio holdings, and updating CLO manager reviews. • Preparing periodic internal Powerpoint presentations. • Providing assistance for other ad hoc projects and analysis within the Structured Product Group.

Qualifications: • 0-2 years experience or relevant internship / work experience. • A bachelor’s degree in a finance related or quantitative discipline. • Experience working with advanced Excel macros, and/or VBA programming. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong PowerPoint skills. • Familiarity with Structured Products markets and Bloomberg, Intex analytical systems is a plus.
