IW/EW

I'm new at posting on here.  Curious what a typical ratio is for Internal Wholesalers to External Wholesalers.  In my firm is 1:1 and I'm wondering if this is common or how it fits into a broader ratio industry-wide.  My EW is a good guy but I'm wondering if he's had to share resources at other places.  I simply don't have the deep industry experience or longevity of career at multiple shops to have figured this out.

Thanks - our firms is a small fixed income SMA manager.
