JPM PB or PIMCO Account Analyst in HK

Hey guys,

I recently got two offers for the upcoming summer in Hong Kong, one from JPM private banking's HK advisors team and the other from PIMCO's account analyst role.

JPM has a better pay initially and potentially a better return rate but some mentioned that PB is not a good place (especially in advisors) to start one's career. I also hope to move to S&T later. Would really appreciate any comments. Thanks a lot for any insights on this!

Two fairly different roles. And you should choose the one you are more attracted to. It is that simple.

- PB is a very good place to start your career - if you are interested in private banking / wealth management.

- Account analyst is a great role - if you want to work for an asset manager and are ok with MO.

None of these roles will allow you to move to S&T.
