I have been recruiting for an analyst position at JPM PB in a regional office. I know JPM has a base of 100/105/110. Is that increasing to 110/125/135 like IB. How big are the bonuses and what is the salary progression/bonuses going forward for associate, VP, ED etc.

You mean at senior levels I’m guessing? Because they’re revenue generators just like IB MDs? And take much less risk with the firms balance sheet than ib does. You only get paid prestige as a junior. Once you actually generate revenue it doesn’t really matter how you do it.
^^, not OP but an analyst who left IB to join a PB (class of 2020). MDs at my PB make just under a mill (90% average in the 750-900k range) working market hours (a bit more every reporting season) and live a very chill life overall. General goals are to bring in about 50mm each year in flows. My MD has a nanny, can afford to send his kids to private school and owns a nice lakehouse. Is it HF billionaire level, no. But if you look back when you are 40 years old with a net worth in the mid 7 figures with a happy and chill life, I don't think it matters.
hey at which point in your ib analyst program did you leave to join pb? or did you join as an assoc?
joined as a 2nd year analyst left immediately after 1st year ended.
Were you promoted as an Associate when you lateraled from IB to PB?
I've seen so many alumni work in PB as an analyst post-grad but can't seem to find too many at the associate/VP+ levels.
Since being there, how clear has the career progression been? Any viability into climbing the ladder? Need for b-school?
