Career Resources
An1: 100>105k base, 8.5 Stub
An2:105>110k base, 15-27 Bonus
Jr Assoc: 135k base, 30+ Bonus(wide range)
Sr Assoc: 150k base, stub for first years, not sure exact amount (~45 is my guess)
An2s are promoted to Jr Assoc in summer with a Base bump to 135 in July/August.
Numbers for a large market (Non-NYC)
Are senior associates stub + flows or?
First year Sr. Associates are “technically” not capped at a stub, but 90% of the time are. For their first comp year, the flows have to be from completely new clients/prospects. Anyone with prior coverage/accounts would not count for the stub year. After that it goes to the standard $25k/$5MM in flows for SC.
im starting as an analyst in July, does this mean after December base goes from 100>105?
Yes, effective Feb 1 and Feb 15th pay date for raise.

Is there a clawback on these bonuses?
2nd year Senior Associate (32 years old, joined out of MBA)
Base - $170k
Bonus - $225k
TC - $395k
Non NYC regional office, a top performer
Was this through OCR and internship?
Currently doing my MBA and interested in the field.
Yeah, through the MBA summer associate program
How many flows or other metrics did you have to achieve for this bonus?
$45MM in flows for this
How big of an outlier are you? Any idea what average was?
Expectation is 5MM for your first year and from what I've heard, 10MM puts you at top 25% nationwide.
How is it looking this year?
Looking good, comp growth is now based on revenue growth of my book. My book had a very strong year, as did the team. Don't know comp yet but it should grow at least 20% YoY. Last year TC was $475k (170 + 305). My new base is $285k so if my comp is up 20% this years bonus would be around $285k.
Any flows out your post-MBA stub year?
Any update on flows from past two years?
Third year flows were strong, bonus was $305 so total comp was $475k. My base salary went up to $285 and got promoted to VP
To add to this thread: 2nd year analyst in PB Solutions. Bonus was disappointing IMO, sub $25k on a $105 base. Base to move up to $110…
