LPL Financial - Financial Analyst Rotational Program

I just got an email this morning through my university's career center about a meeting for this program.  I'm planning on attending but I'm curious if anybody here has any knowledge about this program -- i.e. What's the general consensus surrounding this program?  Is it likely to carry any weight outside of LPL or will it basically just train me for internal promotion?  Will I be relegated to retail financial advisory or will there be decent exit opportunities?  Stuff like that.
