MBB to Banking Career
Starting at MBB soon, focusing on financial services. I have a Bachelor's in Business and a Master's in Corporate Finance.
Long term, I'd like to move into a leadership role at a bank (not IB, e.g. WM / AM / etc.). I'm wondering whether pursuing the CFA would add meaningful credibility within a bank, particularly with technical stakeholders, or whether I'd still primarily be viewed as "the strategy guy."
For those who've worked in banking: does the CFA make a noticeable difference for someone targeting management rather than investment roles?
