Mercer Alternatives Program?

Anyone have any insights on Mercer's Alternatives team? recruiter made it sound like a PE FoF investing role with some sort of consulting mixed in?

I did some reference calls with current and former employees. They are now part of OCIO they manage a FoF and a bunch of SMAs. They have separate consultants that basically share the research the investment team does and do other consultancy stuff but that is separate from the Alts team. Turn over on the investment team has been high, most people said there was never a budget for promotions or raises that the budget goes to the consultants.
