Networking
How do you all network and meet PMs in this sector? It seems like nobody replies on LinkedIn when I message them asking to meet for a coffee to learn about their role/background and specifically without the intention of asking them for a job or reference.
Are there any standard conferences that Tier 1 PMs (Fidelity, Wellington, Capital Group, Blackrock, T Rowe, MFS) attend that could be useful for us lesser folk :)
Edit: Specifically looking for London.
Quite unsure about PM Presence across networking events from tier 1, but could try joining finance industry enterprises like Scottish Financial enterprise which specializes in having networking of finance professionals ranging from retail bank to FO Investment bank. Quite unsure what location you're looking for but if you're already in the industry, there are a lot of organisations who arrange such events. Best of luck
