Networking Advice
A family member (non-finance) has a coworker/close friend who told me to use his name to reach out to someone, a VP friend of his, who works in AM. This is my first time having to reach out to someone through a mutual friend, so how should i approach that, from emailing to actually networking with him? Thanks in advance.
Like you said, your family member is non-finance. The only point of his name should be that the VP will be more compelled to respond to you. That's basically it.
Yea that's basically what i was asking, whether i should include that on the email, that his friend told me to reach out to him. Im assuming the rest should follow the standard networking process right?
