Nose Piercing Retainer - AM Internship

My summer analyst position at a BB starts on Monday. I want to get a clear retainer for my nose stud piercing, since I heard it is unprofessional. Do you think they would care if I have a clear retainer in so that my piercing doesn’t close?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's generally advisable to err on the side of professionalism, especially during the early stages of your internship. While a clear retainer is less noticeable than a stud, it's still a good idea to observe the culture and norms of your workplace first.

For your first day, consider removing the piercing entirely or using the clear retainer if you're concerned about it closing. Once you've had a chance to assess the environment and see how others present themselves, you can make a more informed decision. Remember, as an intern, you want to be remembered for your skills and professionalism rather than personal style choices.

Ong you guys just be trying to throw away your return offers. Why risk it, your 50 year old PM is probably going to think it looks odd. Just get it redone after the Summer!
