Philly RIA's - firms & pay
I've been working in corporate M&A for 6+ years now in the Philadelphia market and am finishing my MBA this summer. I've always wanted to work in the investment management arena here but never made the connections and did enjoy the M&A work the past few years. As I wrap up my MBA now, get the feeling I really want to transfer over to an RIA / Asset Manager, I know, not very linear or an easy task. I do have internship experience in the arena (10 years ago) so I understand the landscape and the work.
Curious if anyone knows the Philly (preferable suburbs) market well; good firms to look into and any insight on comp? Comp is a worry, not sure if RIA / AM comp is close to what corp dev makes in the area.
Thanks in advance, appreciate any and all insight.
