PPE

I have an audit coming up next week and need help understanding some of the requests with PPE:

  1. Breakdown of additions and disposals - are these assets adds and those that were disposed for the year?
  2. What is a PPE register?
  3. Detail of depreciable lives and recalculation - how will this be done? what kind of information should I gather for this?
  4. Analysis of parts and its calculation - currently we capitalize parts and move some into disposal.
  5. Details of CIP put into use versus when depreciation started

Please help me understand PPE and how an audit for PPE will be performed.

Thank you
