PPE
I have an audit coming up next week and need help understanding some of the requests with PPE:
- Breakdown of additions and disposals - are these assets adds and those that were disposed for the year?
- What is a PPE register?
- Detail of depreciable lives and recalculation - how will this be done? what kind of information should I gather for this?
- Analysis of parts and its calculation - currently we capitalize parts and move some into disposal.
- Details of CIP put into use versus when depreciation started
Please help me understand PPE and how an audit for PPE will be performed.
