Private Placements?
I’m starting a new role on the buy side (in private placements) later this year. The company I interned with had absolutely no deal flow, so I didn’t get any real experience but somehow managed to get a FT offer elsewhere. All I really know is that the job involves lots of due diligence and going to roadshows, can anyone give any more information on what either of those actually entails and how best to prepare?
Private placements on the buy side involve a mix of due diligence, relationship management, and deal execution. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect and how to prepare:
1. Due Diligence
2. Roadshows
3. General Preparation Tips
By focusing on these areas, you'll be better equipped to hit the ground running in your new role. Good luck!
