Product Control Return Offer or Rerecruit for FT for Investment Analyst?

I am currently at a BB interning as a product controller and a rising senior at a semi-target. If I get the return and accept it, I would join a 2-year rotation for product/financial control. My end goal is to get as much exposure to investments/delve into portfolio management (doesn't necessarily have to be front office)

There are few alumni from my current program who networked into the asset management department of the bank after the 2-year program, and I know the company allows a lot of internal mobility. I was wondering if I should seek the return or re-recruit for full-time. Thank you so much.
