Product Manager to WM

Bit of background: Born in Italy, Spanish wife, London based Degree: business management (2:2 lol) Extra Qualifications: CQF Job: technical data product manager and mesh architect for big sexy Swiss bank (UK) TLDR: offer to meet with Spanish/LatAm head of WM and want to know if it’s a career worth pursuing? What would be the journey to get there? Am I in over my head? Story: As you can see, I have a pretty unorthodox background for my role, at 17 I was offered a degree apprenticeship by a hotel company where I worked in varied roles gaining chartered management degree paid for by the hotel company… I used that role to become data and systems manager for building services tech for a bank, and I spent 2 years building networks until I managed to get a role in a really interesting innovation project for my bank as a perm… I’m about to become an associate director at 23 which I am very proud of, but I am also aware that I would never have got into my position and salary through applying externally. I recently met the head of Wealth management in charge of Spain and Latin America, as I am fluent in a few languages I stood out and was invited to get a coffee and meet his team next week. I mentioned my interest in wealth management as a career within maybe 2/3 years and was very honest with my mediocre qualifications and work experience My question is, wealth management really interests me, I would love a career in it, am I in over my head? What qualifications would I need? and is it worth the change? I want to ask all you guys to get your opinion on this career shift as could I see myself becoming a client advisor long term but I don’t want to overshoot
