Wanted to see if anyone could shed light on how much comp would differ in say a public vs private associate (post-MBA) credit role at a top shop for each. I know there are various roles for each space but for comparisons sake what would the difference be for a credit research associate vs. a direct lending or mezz focused associate. Basically trying to figure out what is the more lucrative career path and by how much usually.
