RA exit opps to macrofunds?
Hey all,
Recently graduated and accepted an RA position at a reputable >$1tn AM. Part of a global macro team that trades sovereign credit. Really excited to start and vaguely planning on applying for an econ PhD after the 3 years are up, but also curious about exit opps to macro hedgefunds like DESCO or Bridgewater (also pod shops with macro strategies like BAM). Interviewed with most of those in undergrad, and Ik I'd need to plan on dedicating downtime to working on my coding proficiency instead of publishing econ research.
Asking the community if this path is possible/established. Thanks
