Recruiting for AM - different divisions?
I know some AMs have different divisions, sometimes investing across public and private markets. One example is GS, which has traditional equity research (I think under AM), or things like private secondaries.
When recruiting for internships, AFAIK, you apply for the ‘AM’ division. What skills do they look for? For example, I would imagine python / public market investing would be great for ER, but less so for something like credit.
