I always preferred solo because I like having my own space and no distractions and doing whatever tf I want

If you are new to the area, get a roommate. Easier to expand your network that way.
Yea roommates are cool. Just make sure they aren't OCD and not SUICIDAL lol. I had both types of roommates. I asked them if they had mental health problems, and they both said no they didn't. Bitches. Made some of my college experience hell.
Currently in college with the exact same problem. Everyone’s got their own shit to deal with and I cannot stand when I am the one dealing with their shit.
Lol yea it tripped up my mind for real. Made me question myself a lot. Just ignore them. Don't talk to them and create a distance. Sometimes they are good friends, but not good roommates.
