Series 7, 3 & 63 required?

I noticed in the job descriptions for a few US-based positions I've been thinking to apply for that various licenses are required for roles. I'm thinking here of the Series 7, 63 and 3 for example, in the case of the portfolio associate at PIMCO.

Now, I'm not based in the US, and so I don't have these licenses. I am definitely ready to get them (I've passed the CFA exams, I imagine I can get through these as well), but since I'm currently studying full-time with a pretty demanding postgrad course load, I was hoping not to sit the Series examinations on top of everything else right now.

So, in your view, do you think it would be feasible for me to say in my application "will get them ASAP", or will I have no chance without already having gotten the licenses? And if it is the latter, can I sit them from outside the US?

Obviously the way to make sure is to email them and ask, but I figured I'd check first.

In order to take those exams you have to be sponsored by the firm you work for. So there is no way for you to take them until you are employed by a firm that would want you to take them.

Usually they require them within 90 days of starting if they are required to have in the position. They would obviously rather hire someone that has those licenses already though.

I recently went through Series 79 and 63, not too tough at all. If you passed the CFA levels, these will be breezy. 10 hours and you are G2G.
