Software engineer salaries in investment firms (apologies if this question is out of context)

Hello everyone,

I know this might be a completely random question for this forum and maybe not appropriate to ask here but I couldn't find any good sources online for this question. Does anyone know how much software engineers/ full stack developers make in PE/AM firms? I understand this is not the area of expertise for most here, but I was just wondering if you've heard anything within the companies you work for or you have connections/friends who work in tech at investment companies or banks.
