Software Engineering at Goldman Sachs Asset Management

So this might not be the best place to ask about software engineering but couldn't find much information elsewhere. So I'm choosing between a GSAM and Capital One internship and I'm wondering how the engineering department is at Goldman Sachs. My recruiter said I would most likely be put on a team within public investing and risk within GSAM and I'm wondering what that division/team is like for engineering. I'm interested in learning more about finance and working on trading systems, possibly pivoting to quant development or trading for my next internship but unsure if I'd even be exposed to that during my internship at GS.
