Steps to pivot from finance into an asset management role

Hello Monkeys,

I need yall help! I want to leave finance for investment management. What are the necessary steps needed to make this transition happen???? For my next role, I would love to be an investment or portfolio analyst. To speak briefly my long-term goal is to be a PM at a top 20 endowment or alternative investment strategist.

Attached is my resume to shed light on my past.

Thanks a lot,

I really dislike the layout/formatting

I would not put (elementary) next to your R skills. Either pick another word that won't compare you to a child or take it off if you aren't familiar enough to speak about R.

I think the functional skills section is pointless

Please read up on how to properly state status in the CFA program, if you misuse it and a charterholder sees it, shows you are not really studying.

When I was still taking my exams I did it like this:

CFA Institute - Chartered Financial Analyst Level Whatever exam scheduled June 20XX Bullet point -> passed Level whatever June 20xx
