Structuring Unitranche Debt

Hey guys - Was hoping someone here has some buyside credit experience to give me some color on unitranches. I'm talking to a MM shop that does a lot of uni deals and am wondering what are some factors that would determine structuring a unitranche deal versus a 1st/2nd lien deal.
