Target School Engineer - Unsure of what to do

Hey everyone, I'm an engineer at Cornell University majoring in computer science and need some guidance on career paths. I know I'm not a finance/econ major, but do engineers have a good shot at entering Asset Management/sales and trading/ibd?

I am seriously considering finance, but am unsure of where to begin. If I want to work in AM, can the salary beat out that of computer science jobs? And what should I learn if I was targeting such an industry, I feel that I don't know enough compared to finance majors.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For the sake of humanity, stay in engineering.

Besides, you should play to your strengths - Cornell's engineering is top notch and all major F100 firms go there to recruit (MSFT/Google/Apple/etc), but I'm sure you already know this. A good friend of mine (electrical engineer from Cornell) was in a similiar situation - he went to info sessions for banks but ultimately went for Microsoft.
