Technicals in AM/IM/PM

I am looking into SA roles in equity-based products at BB (GS, JP, MS), MM (WB), and SWF/PF,  but due to my school's lack of resources, I am not sure where to start or what technical knowledge or guides there are out there for me to study from. I'm also a rising sophomore at OSU. Can anybody give me any insights into technicals and the recruitment process? It's tough to find people in the AM at banks.
