Waiting for HR Approval - What Do I Do?
Finished a summer internship in early August and my manager recommended me for FT. Manager said it was in the hands of HR and there was nothing left for him to do about it. It has been a little over 2 weeks since this discussion and since then I reached out to HR and they pretty much gave me a non-answer saying that they were changing things up this year and any potential hire timelines are still being drawn up.
I really liked the group/work, but should I continue waiting or just start networking and going for other things? The anxiety of having Schrodingers box of employment/unemployment is killing me. That said the best estimate given to me by someone on the team was at most 1 month (so 2 more weeks).
If you think I shouldn't wait, any recommendation on a plan of attack moving forward?
