Warwick Finance (A&F) Undergrad or Gap-year to re-apply for LSE
Hi, guy's I'm in a certain situation and was wondering if I could get peoples take on what would be the best course of action for me as someone currently in sixth form/final year of high school.
I've got an offer from Warwick for their Accounting and Finance course (in which I would look to take the Finance focused pathway) but I was recently rejected from LSE for there Finance program.
I have a specific interest in value investing taking particular inspiration from the likes of Seth Klarman and would look to in the future after my degree go into equity research/asset management at a value-based firm or in any position with a value-focused role.
I was wondering if taking a gap-year to reapply to LSE after getting my grades (predicted 3A* with A further maths) would give me a considerable advantage over going to Warwick, with my particular goals in mind.
I understand that they are both target schools, but I'm just wondering if going to Warwick would significantly limit me as I seek to work in a few specialised firms.
If it is the best idea to take a gap-year what would you guys suggest to do with this time?
