Which is the best course, Corporate Finance or Investment Analysis?

I am a student in a non-target university who studies Economics and Mathematics with a business minor that allows me to take one more finance-related course, corporate finance or Investment Analysis. As a person who is pursuing a career in Asset Management, Investment Analysis seems like the better choice of the two. However, the Excel skills that can be gained from a corporate finance course are valuable throughout most of the finance industry. Any opinions on which course I should take?

They both probably have some value, but I would heavily lean towards the investment analysis course simply because it is going to provide you with more relevant skills that are likely to help you get a job. Most of the excel skills can be picked up through self-teaching, and or through programs that future employers will use to train you (Training the Street). If you have a good understanding of TVM and leverage the corp finance class likely doesn't add any value to obtaining your end goal.

Both classes will add value. Understanding corporate finance is just as valuable as investment analysis. You can't go wrong with either. Depending on program there will be some overlap. My undergrad corporate finance class covered many of the same topics as my investment analysis class just from the corporations perspective. Talk to the professors of both classes to get a feel for what you'd be learning and go with the class more appealing to you.
