WSO Academy, 30 hours with a mentor. How do I not waste them?

Sophomore econ major, non-business school, targeting AM. Just started the Academy and I'm trying to figure out how to actually use the mentor hours instead of improvising my way through them.

For anyone who's done it:

  1. How did you structure the 30 hours? Technicals first, networking later, or mixed?
  2. Anything you'd skip in hindsight?
  3. Any mentors in the program you'd recommend for someone going the AM route? Less interested in brand name, more in whether they're patient with a student still learning fundamentals.
