[3.7 GPA, nontarget] Transfer?

Hi! I’m a sophomore at a US nontarget, interested in consulting. I’m aware that my grades are pretty bad for a nontarget. Recently received offer to enter LSE Econ as a first year student. Currently interning at a post-IPO unicorn, previous internships at boutique consulting companies and a market research company. Some campus leadership. Should I transfer? The pros and cons I can think of are:

[+] I’m unlikely to get any consideration from MBB/T2 due to poor GPA. Studying STEM but I don’t think that matters. Transferring would “reset” my grades.

[+] LSE would be quite a lot more prestigious and open up options

[+] I’m not really enjoying my current course and university

- It sounds extremely stupid to delay my graduation a year and spend a lot more money for a slightly higher chance at landing offers in a few consulting companies

- I might flop academically there

- It’s expensive

Would love any advice. Thanks!

Bro 3.7 is a great gpa

Yeah. It’s great but I think being at a nontarget messes it up - most students I see with MBB/T2 from my college have a 3.85+. Which I probably can’t get

I go to a target and every student who got MBB had a 3.9+, even if they were engineering majors.

Your GPA is solid, even for consulting, but yeah LSE Econ would be very prestigious especially for MBB applications. Don't worry about flopping academically, it's not as hard as people say. Put in a solid amount of work when it matters and pick easier modules and you can easily get a first here, even if you spend a lot of your other time on extra curriculars or applications.
