Capital One BA 2025 Spring Power day?

Hi, just found out about this forum and gained a lot of help through the discussions, but I didn't find any post about the spring hire for Capital One. I applied to C1 BA fulltime position in early Jan, and got my power day invitation last week, my interview is scheduled in late Feb. I have some questions regarding the power day/timeline overall.

1. What are some of the recourses I can use to prepare? I am familiar with MBB cases from undergrad but right now I'm in a stats master program. I want to be able to quickly pick up my finance/case skills. Also, any coding/SQL in the interview?

2. I don't understand this timeline!! I thought FT for 2025 was already full during their last year's hire? Does anyone know what is the chance of getting an offer for this spring hire?

3. My interview was scheduled pretty late and I'm worried about HCs being filled in the previous week. Should I reachout to the recruiter to move the date earlier?

4. Any overall tips on power day? Such as structure of the cases, what kind of behavioral questions to prepare for?

Thank you so much!! I am excited for the power day and wish I can be very prepared. <3

1. for the internship, it's 2 consulting cases and 1 product interview (they ask you to describe the tech product and ask you to ideate how to improve the features for the consumer) combined with behavioral. i believe it's the same for full time (my recruiter gave me an option to switch offers to FT). no coding, finance questions.

2. i believe that the plano office has some spots left.

3. don't think it would be an issue.

4. typical behavioral questions and case interviews. practice with somebody if you can.

That's a lot of helpful info, thank you so much! Did you apply in fall and how was your interviewing experience? I've heard the experience is pretty positive and the interviewers are usually friendly and helpful.

yes i applied towards end of summer for internship program. the interview experience was really nice and enjoyable, my interviewers were all nice and we were able to have good conversations

They should have given you a detailed breakdown of what a Power Day looks like (what types of interviews), as well as a link to practice cases and time to schedule a live practice case with a current employee? Is that in your email somehwere?

Yes I did get these emails! Also I already met with my c1 buddy and had a mock case together. Still feeling pretty anxious though... I think there won't be a lot of HCs for my timeline so even if I don't screw it, the chance of getting an offer is still low :(
