Deloitte Customer and Marketing Group
Does anyone know what type of projects someone aligned to Deloitte Customer and Marketing would be doing? I think this is a group under the new operating model.
It is growth strategy oriented. They have the largest chunk of Monitor folk by % of practitioners than any other group (even strategy and analytics). It is also one of the smallest groups. They have a Doblin and Heat focus as well (two of their recent acquisitions in branding). From what I can tell this is going to be the hardest group to get into.
It is almost a more pure S&O without the operations aspect.
That is really interesting about the % of legacy monitor people. I joined the S&A with the assumption that most of the legacy Monitor projects are there (Corporate / Business Unit Strategy). Is this just an anecdotal estimate or were there stats released about this?
There was an internal breakdown I saw. One of my co-workers was building out a deck from it for an internal initiative.

I think it would be the group with the lowest amount of implementation work. This would be more core or enterprise business ops.
Also is this description of work the same for those incoming S&O and BTAs?
Yes and no. If you were recruited as a BTA it would still show that on your alignment as it would show if someone was recruited for strategy. You could be on the same project, but you'd likely be doing different work.
It's a blend of Deloitte Digital and Monitor Deloitte. Great new and prominent group. Does anyone know more about the cross consulting group?

Cross Consulting group is just the generalist in each of the silos. if you are in customer and marketing and CCG than you could do all C&M projects. It's for Analysts and Consultants who want flexibility.

From what I hear it is more around the design of the technical aspects of customer experience platforms (think delta iphone app) or CRM systems.
