Deloitte final round - interviewer or candidate led case?

Hi the title pretty much says it. I was wondering if Deloitte's final round interview is candidate led (prompt and go style) or is it interviewer led (McKinsey style, every couple minutes interviewer has a new question that shifts the focus of the case).

If anyone knows it'd be really helpful, thanks

Ah well no, its for S&O and it's in their chicago office. So not the fed practice, definitely commercial S&O. I don't have any idea who the interviewer will be but I'm hoping more for the general style than any specifics about the cases.

Really depends on who is leading the interview. Knowing the position of the interviewer can also help. The more senior, the more likely the interviewee will be leading the case. I've had a number of friends do Deloitte interviews and the successful ones normal lead it.

S&O final rounds have three components (at least at the MBA level), fit interview, case interview, and group interview. Fit interview is no different than the 100's of others you've done already. Case interview is mostly candidate led, interviewer (almost always a partner) gives you a situation and lets you go at it, though he will provide answers if prompted or steer you in the right direction if you're way off. Group interview is entirely candidate led, partners (in my case, one director and one "regular" partner) simply grill you with questions about your analysis but don't provide any direction or comments. Hope that helps, happy to answer more questions.
