Does anyone in Consulting actually enjoy traveling?

Traveling in consulting seems to be the toughest part for most. Rest I find the work to be better satisfying than IB and PE (clear my myths if this is not true, also explain why you agree).

Could someone who has stayed more than 2 years in consulting explain the travel aspect in depth? (Work Life Balance, Hobbys, Exercise, Leisure time, Relationships, Friends, etc.)

Also if you have quit consulting due to travel, please share your thoughts too.

I like the travel aspect (plus the tax free benefits, points, food, booze, rubbing shoulders with people in other cities), but coincidentally my long term relationship ended within a few months of lateraling to consulting.

Would absolutely hate it if I didn't have a girl who wanted to travel along. And absolutely no way if we were going to have kids (I can neglect my future children for a lot more money than what consulting could offer lol)
