Entry level consulting vs. data science

Looking for some opinions/information about skill specific entrance ops into consulting. My plan after graduating was to do tech consulting for 3-5 years, move into a data science focused position to solidify my technical skills, than take those back into consulting. I had a consulting internship, ended up working part time there for the following year while in school, and it's what I see myself doing long term.

Here's my dilemma: I have offers from IBM, ZS Associates, a local but well regarded consulting firm, and somehow networked my way to a data science offer at an F50(but non-consulting) firm. I have almost decided to take the data science offer as it is essentially surpassing my 5 yr goal now, but before I do so thought I would reach out for opinions. I know many look for exit-ops after a few years in consulting, so I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to break into it later on - thoughts?

I'll also mention that IBM messed up their budgeting and want to me start in Jan 2018 which is definitely a turn off. Any advice is appreciated!
