FT at MBB or Boutique?

Hello everyone, first post here so seeing how it goes…

I currently am a student graduating in July ‘24 with 2 FT offers. 1 from MBB from last summer as an intern and 1 from this recent summer from a boutique (think LEK, Roland Berger, etc.) and I’m genuinely having trouble choosing between the 2. The MBB offer is for my office back in my home country in Southeast Asia and the boutique offer is for London.

I had an amazing time last year and nothing went bad in particular, but my recent summer with the boutique was a really great experience for me. I found that the consultants there truly cared about my learning and the culture there was great. Also, because the boutique focussed on one specific area, I felt like I was able to learn a lot more about an industry which made me think that in a couple of years, I could see myself being somewhat an “expert” in that field whereas the MBB firm’s focus on a large variety of cases would mean it taking a longer time to find my specialty.

Many ppl are telling me that I’m dumb to turn down MBB so early on but I’m very torn between the culture of the boutique and the prestige of MBB. Any thoughts? Thanks guys.
