I'm really conflicted and need some outside perspective
I've gotten an offer from deloitte (A) that is a 10% cut from where I am now. I have an offer from another company in industry (B) that is 20% more than where I am now.
The pay difference between deloitte and this other company is 3,250 per month or 39,000 per year.
The primary reason I was looking to leave my current company was to get a big brand name on my resume - I'm not planning to get an MBA so I figured deloitte would do. With the serious pay differential, though, I might as well go get an MBA with the extra money I make from (B).
I would be coming in at a manager level at Deloitte, but they pushed me down from an M3 to an M2 in my final interview, which I really don't like - it feels like a bait and switch. I also keep reading about how they deliberately lowball lateral hires and that does not sit well with me.
Any thoughts?

The other company is 30% higher in comp, need to believe a lot for a Big 4 to be worth that in brand value
If you were to go with Deloitte in this case, you'd be valuing the incremental value of the brand at ~40k/year. That would be a significant over-valuation IMO. At the end of the day, it's an accounting firm that hires literally tons of people. It's not like the brand itself will be a huge green flag that will open up amazing opportunities.
