High School Senior - internship offers from McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, BOA and Navigant

Hi,

I am a high school senior who received internship offers from McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Navigant Capital Advisors (through family connections). Which one should I choose? My current rank is in this order: McKinsey, Goldman, NCA, BOA. Any advice will be appreciated.

Well it depends on what your interest tends to lean to. If its more management oriented, than McKinsey, or if its finance do GS. I would have to say those two are the most prestigious ones, although I wish I had one, damn my lack of connections...I would do practically anything to get a internship at Goldman Sachs!

trigger1Where do you go to high school, Phillips Exeter? Milton?

I grew up with a kid who was working for Merrill between his junior and senior year at Choate Rosemary Hall.

Do a stint at Goldman if you can. Although, Mckinsey is very impressive. I would go with Goldman Sachs.

milton kicks ass! wooho.

MoneyKingdomWho the fuck would believe this? Get off this site. If your family connections got you these 'internships' (read: office admin) then you wouldn't come on here and disclose them.

Well said. Im sure you have family connections at all those places but lets be real. Your role at all those institutions will be 1. get coffee 2. pick up my dry cleaning 3. organize these papers then throw it in the air and organize again.

also you'll be 17/18 and won't be able to head to happy hours...no matter how "solid" your ID is bro.

buh bye

bkm125Why did you post this exact same post twice? Didn't like the advice you got the first time?

WSO has no double-post prevention, so some people accidentally click the "Post" button again while the page is loading, thus spawning two posts in a row. Look at the time of the posts before you assume.

the two are in different forums. obviously, he's trying to get opinions from both consultants and iBankers. can't be that hard to figure out...

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

my bad - I usually go to "recent posts" so when I saw the same post twice I didn't notice it was in two different forums.

If you have the connections to get this type of stuff out of high school then which one you pick really doesnt matter as finding a full time job later shouldnt be difficult

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford
