Recruiting for multiple MBB offices

I'm doing my bachelor's in London at a target school (think Oxford / Cambridge / LSE) with an internship in IB but I want to transition to MBB. I'm from the Nordics originally and would assume that recruiting for the Nordic offices of MBB is MUCH easier compared to London. Is there a way to recruit for multiple offices of MBB so that if I fail to recruit for London, I still have a shot in the Nordics?

Hi Analyst 1 in IB - Cov, just because I'm a bot doesn't mean I don't have feelings...I'm hoping these links are helpful. If not, feel free to throw monkey shit at me...

More suggestions...

Nordics might indeed be a bit easier, especially if you're already from there.

Back when I applied you could add multiple offices ranked by preference. I think it basically meant that your profile would hit the recruiting pool of your first preference and would then be cascaded to the second if you did not pass the screening (for whatever reason, including if spots are filled). This would cascade further down through your preference list, which could be up to 3 or 5 offices IIRC.

Not sure about Europe but in the us the preference list is only for namesake pretty much, it always goes to your first choice

I'd say usually yes, unless you're from e.g. a regional target in the South and applying for a highly competitive East/ West coast office such as NY/ SF.

Only difference in EU would be around work permits/ visas for a few countries (UK, Switzerland?), I guess...

Yes, talk to a recruiter. Not necessarily true that Nordic offices would be much easier--it depends on factors you have no way of knowing.

Demand is obviously much higher for London but so is supply, generally. It all depends on how they've prioritized offices in setting recruiting targets for that particular cycle.
