Semester Off, Next Summer Advice?

I'm a rising junior at Wharton with a good good gpa, tech startup internship this past summer, and I'm taking a semester off this upcoming spring. I'll be out of the country until April, so I won't be able to do any recruiting for next summer.

Because of this time off and graduating a semester late, I essentially have an "extra" summer before the summer that leads to a FT. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking to do after college, but I'd love to something that has social impact (like social venture capital, for those of you know specifically what I'm referring to) or maybe consulting (hopefully @ MBB).

What do you think I should try to do this upcoming summer? I will potentially be able to work part time at a local VC during the fall, so I was thinking about networking to land a summer VC internship or going back to that startup from last summer (I had a really great experience). Other than that, I really have no idea what to consider! Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Get an internship for junior summer. Most recruiting for that is in the start of spring semester, so if you're going to need a good plan in place if you're leaving the country at that time.
